SOAR (Searchable Online Accommodation Resource)
This is a database created by the Job Accommodation Network (JAN). You can search by limitation, work-related function, disability, and more! This website will direct you to resources specific to accommodation type and will inform you about what types of accommodations are federally protected.

The Americans with Disabilities Act
This is the beta website for the Americans with Disabilities Act. There is an older version of the site still live online, but the newer version is easier to navigate. This is an excellent resource for information on federal protection for disabilities as well as workplace requirements. If you've ever wondered- can my company do that? Check here!

Job Accommodation Network (JAN) resources
This portion of the JAN website provides direct resources for things like insurance, housing, disabilities rights agencies, social security, wages, etc. If you're not sure who to call, this is a good place to start!

Employee Rights by the Department of Labor (DOL)
This website, hosted by the DOL, provides information on the American with Disabilities Act and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, information on enforcement, and other resources for workers and prospective workers.

JAN Resources for Dealing with Improper Requests for Medical Information
This portion of JAN's website helps you protect your medical information. Employers are not entitled to all of your medical information, even relating to a disability you need accommodations for. Know what information you may be required to provide as well as what you're not.

U.S. EEOC
This resource from the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission discusses disability discrimination and harassment in the workplace and during the hiring process.
